How are we supposed to behave or react on this issue when in fact Juan dela Cruz is all clueless of what is really happening? Some analysts say we have to prepare for the domino effect while the government says "don't panic." What are we supposed to believe? Meanwhile, let's make most of what we have in hand. We should not go with the flow of crisis, instead think of better ways on how to cope with it. For me who started a life in a "bahay kubo" there's no big deal cutting budget for not-so-important things, eating veggies grown in our backyard and buying less frequently for less expensive brands of wardrobe. It's not an easier-said-than-done attitude to always know our priorities. We just need to sit down, think, rethink and list. Also, each one of us is born distinctly talented. We can use our extra skills and abilities to make extra income if we only know how to use it wisely.
ON RETIRED GENERAL BEING HELD IN MOSCOW FOR CARRYING 6.9M "CONTINGENCY FUND" IN CASH UNDECLARED
It's all about money... big money. According to Senator Miriam Santiago, the amount is 3x the incidentals that the Interpol delegates are supposed to bring. Ironically, the General is about to retire by the time he attended the official trip. What's the use of the General Appropriations Act then? What's the use of the law? If the country's Chief Executive or the President of the Republic is the only one entitled to use the so called "contigency fund," then the President may have trusted the PNP official to use her funds.
While the Senate is busy with different investigations, the other side of the country is either compromised or underprivileged with (-)nth or 0.000-and-more-zero percentage of that 6.9M and money laundered by the top officials. Who are these people in the first place? Did we not gave them the name they are enjoying right now?
